As a sponsor, you will provide a girl in Guatemala with the motivation and support she needs to reach her highest potential. You will also make it possible for her to fully participate in the ground-breaking SERniña Empowerment Program.
SERhero Sponsorship Options
Sponsor A Girl ($20 USD / $25 CAD per month)
SERniña works with hundreds of girls every year from 12-19 years old. Each girl receives over 60hours of our transformative program and is led by a vibrant SERniña Facilitator.
This option covers all costs for one girl to fully participate in the SERniña Program including the cost of her personalized workbooks, art supplies, educational materials and teaching resources.

Sponsor A Facilitator ($ 55 USD per month / $75 CAD)
Facilitators are the backbone of our entire program. They are real-life authentic role models who bring the SERniña curriculum to life. All women come directly from the communities where they are working, and have been trained extensively in the SERniña foundational philosophy and methodology. This option covers the fair salary paid to one of our Program Facilitators so she can empower an additional group of 15 girls each week. Program Facilitators are young local women aged 19-30 who run SERniña’s Empowerment Workshops.

Sponsor A Girl Group ($ 240 USD per month / $300 CAD)
Every SERniña group consists of no more than 15 participants so each girl can feel special and feel heard. They meet for two-hours every week with their facilitator to work through the innovative and creative SERniña curriculum.
This option covers most costs associated with running one full workshop of a group of 15 girls, including all needed educational and art materials, and customized program materials for each participant such as journals, and workbooks.
